Chris joined Hollyport as Finance Director in September 2024, based in the London Office. He is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Hollyport Funds, focussing on reporting, financial and cash management, and compliance at the fund-level.
Prior to working at Hollyport, Chris spent over 6 years at ICG and was most recently the Head of Finance and Operations for the LP Secondaries strategy; and over 10 years at PwC, where he was a Senior Manager servicing alternative asset management clients in both London and New York.
Chris holds an FCA with the ICAEW and graduated from Warwick Business School with an MSc in Economics and Finance.
Chris is a keen sportsman, although he is increasingly on the side of a pitch cheering on his children rather than playing.
Emily joined Hollyport in 2024 as a Fund Accountant in the London office. Prior to Hollyport, she was at Haysmacintyre LLP as a graduate trainee auditor where she managed audits for a diverse client base across financial services, NFPs and charities. This role entailed leading audit engagements, conducting comprehensive financial analyses to identify discrepancies, ensuring compliance and cultivating strong client relationships.
Emily holds a first-class Bachelor of Science with honours – Professional Accounting in Business. She is currently training to be a chartered accountant (ACA).
Outside of work, Emily enjoys prioritising her wellness whether by staying active with regular gym routines, trying new sports for fun or painting with watercolours.
She speaks Burmese, more specifically the Zo dialect of Myanmar.
Hilary joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.
Prior to joining Hollyport Hilary was an Associate at IBIS Capital, a specialist mid-market TMT investment bank where he was involved in the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.
Hilary holds an MA in Medieval History and Business Management from the University of Cambridge. Outside work, Hilary enjoys all things sport (mainly cycling, rugby and cricket) as well as reading and going to the theatre.
Katherine joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Associate in the investment team in London. Within her role, Katherine works with the investment team to introduce new opportunities and analyse potential acquisitions of private equity funds and portfolio companies. This includes valuing businesses, reviewing private equity fund financial statements and performing due diligence on private equity managers.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Katherine started her career at PwC in the asset and wealth management audit practice, before transferring to transaction services to perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Katherine has a First Class degree in Economics from Durham University, and completed her ACA qualification whilst at PwC, winning multiple ICAEW prizes. She was born in Hong Kong and lived there as a child. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family.
Lyon joined Hollyport in 2024 as Head of Tax. She will play a pivotal role in building and developing Hollyport’s tax function. Her role will focus on advising stakeholders on the tax structure of our funds, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and staying abreast of new tax legislative developments impacting the industry to assist with the implementation of process and procedures to address changes.
Lyon worked at Deloitte from 2012 to 2018 as a Senior Consultant before moving to Ernst & Young. Since 2019 she has worked at KPMG US Tax Services in London as a Senior Manager. Lyon studied LL.M Taxation at the University of San Diego School of Law; she speaks conversational Spanish and is level B2 Dutch.
Out of work Lyon enjoys spending time outside with her partner, 3 year old Vizsla and her 9 month old daughter.
Amy joined Hollyport in 2024 as an EA and Operations Administrator. Her role entails supporting all aspects of the business, particularly focusing on operational support for the IR team.
Amy is a graduate of the London College of Fashion, where she earned an FdSc in Beauty & Spa Management. With a strong administrative background, Amy has experience in roles related to meetings and events and facilities management, including managing client floors at Houlihan Lokey and McKinsey. Most recently, Amy served as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the London-based C-Suite at Carlson Capital.
Outside of her professional life, Amy is dedicated to spending quality time with her niece and nephew. She enjoys Reformer Pilates and Hula Fit and loves cooking for family and friends whenever possible.
Callum joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.
Before joining Hollyport, Callum was an Associate at Asante Capital in the Secondaries and Capital Solutions team, where he was involved in the origination and execution of GP-led transactions on behalf of private equity clients, across all sectors.
Callum graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Economics and Finance and completed a year in industry with a wealth manager, where he worked on the discretionary portfolio management team.
Outside of work, Callum enjoys travelling, tennis, running and skiing.
Jeff joined Hollyport in 2023 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.
He began his career at Boston Consulting Group as a management consultant and prior to joining Hollyport, he was part of the Investment Team at British International Investment, the UK Government’s development finance institution.
Jeff graduated top of his class from Strathmore University in Kenya with a First-Class Honours Degree in Financial Economics. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys rugby, yoga and going to live music events.
Tatiana joined Hollyport in 2023, and is an Associate in the investor relations team in London.
Tatiana supports the IR team in delivering a high level of customer service and relationship management to existing and prospective investors. She focusses on liaising with investors, fund administrators and prospective investors to support them with queries and provide information about Hollyport. This includes updating marketing materials and joining meetings, supporting the senior IR team members.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Tatiana was a consultant at Greenbrook, a strategic communications advisory firm serving the alternative investment industry. Specifically, she advised clients on matters including narrative development, fundraising, M&A and crisis communications. Prior to this, she was an intern at a mid-market private equity firm, working with both the investment and investor relations teams – this sparked her initial interest in the industry.
Tatiana has a Masters in Psychology from the University of Bath, with a specific interest in neuropsychology having completed her final dissertation on brain ageing and its reversibility.
Christen joined the Hollyport London office as a compliance officer in October 2022. She manages Hollyport’s compliance with UK and US regulations, educating employees on regulatory requirements and their individual responsibilities.
Christen started her career in financial markets in the US, which helped her develop a strong FINRA and SEC background. Since relocating to London three years ago, Christen has strongly developed her FCA knowledge.
Christen gained a BSc in Human Resource Management and then focused on business law and compliance in financial institutions. She gained her bar admissions from Illinois State Bar.
In her spare time, Christen enjoys spending time with her dog and exploring the UK. She can also be found fixing up her old Victorian home in East London.
