Matthew joined Hollyport in July 2025 as Financial Controller, based in the London office. He is responsible for the group’s financial operations, including accounting, consolidation, and reporting. His role covers the production of management accounts and financial statements, coordination of audits, and supporting the firm’s treasury, remuneration and fund-related activities, while maintaining robust financial controls as Hollyport continues to grow.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Matthew spent 3 years at Leadenhall Capital Partners as Financial Controller, where he was responsible for management and statutory reporting, audits, tax and cash flow forecasting. He previously worked for 4 years at Throgmorton UK, a financial services provider supporting alternative asset managers, where he qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 2020, having completed his AAT qualification in 2017.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys football, golf, cycling and skiing, and he takes the opportunity to go scuba diving whenever he can.
Ellie joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Associate in the Investment team in London. Her role involves supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Ellie was an Associate at HSBC in the Healthcare team, where she focused on M&A and financing transactions.
Ellie holds a Master’s in Financial Analysis from London Business School. Originally from Taiwan, she is fluent in Mandarin and English. In her spare time, Ellie enjoys attending theatre performances and hosting dinners.
Eirik joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Investment Associate in London. He is involved with the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Eirik was an Associate in Baird’s Industrial and Consumer team, focusing on transatlantic mid-market M&A transactions.
Eirik holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from the Rotterdam School of Management. He is fluent in Norwegian and has lived in five different countries.
Outside of work, Eirik enjoys going to the gym and exploring London’s restaurant scene.
Christian joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Investment Associate in London. In this role, he supports the investment team by analysing potential acquisitions of private equity funds, performing due-diligence and financial modelling. He is excited to apply his M&A transaction experience to the secondary market. As part of his development, Christian aims to deepen financial modelling techniques and his understanding of the private-equity secondaries market.
Before joining Hollyport, Christian spent over three years in EY’s M&A Financial Due Diligence practice, advising strategic and private-equity clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions. Prior to moving into finance, he worked as an engineer with the UK Ministry of Defence in Singapore and with BAE Systems on UK military vessels.
Christian is an exam-qualified Chartered Accountant, due to achieve full qualification in 2025, and holds a First Class BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
Away from the office, Christian used to play basketball competitively but has since swapped this for going to the gym and hiking. In addition to English, he speaks intermediate Spanish and is taking lessons to improve his fluency.
Annabel joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Investment Associate, based in London. Her role involves evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence and pricing analysis on potential transactions alongside the investment team.
Before joining Hollyport, Annabel worked with the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Bank of America and was involved in M&A and capital markets advisory to corporate and private equity clients across the healthcare sector.
Annabel graduated from Duke University (USA) with a degree in Political Science. Outside of work, Annabel enjoys running. She has completed the London and Stockholm marathon and hopes to do more in the future.
Thomas joined Hollyport in 2025 as an analyst in the Portfolio, Data and Analytics team.
Thomas is an Economics undergraduate student at the University of Bath and is completing his placement year at Hollyport. His role focuses on overseeing the performance of Hollyport’s funds through the review and processing of calls, distributions, financials and capital account statements. In addition, he works closely with teams across the firm to contribute to internal reporting and analysis.
Thomas is interested in how data and analysis support portfolio decisions and he is looking forward to applying his analytical skills to produce insights, whilst also building up his knowledge of the Secondaries market.
In his spare time, Thomas enjoys reading, going to the gym and playing the oboe. He also likes to travel and has recently started learning Spanish.
Johanne joined the Compliance team as an Associate in 2025 and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s compliance function by managing day-to-day operational tasks.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and spent a semester abroad studying at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. As a student, Johanne completed a Consulting Internship at EY and volunteered her time at a free legal clinic.
After relocating to London in 2024, Johanne started her career in Compliance at one of the UK’s largest trading brokerages, where she gained experience working within a highly regulated space.
Johanne grew up in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand and is fluent in Afrikaans. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, travelling with friends and listening to live music.
Finlay joined Hollyport in 2025 as an analyst in the Portfolio, Data and Analytics team.
He is an Economics undergraduate at the University of Bath, currently completing his placement year with the firm. His responsibilities include monitoring Hollyport’s funds by processing financial and capital account statements, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date fund data. Finlay also works closely with various teams across the business, supporting internal reporting and contributing to analytical processes.
In his spare time, Finlay enjoys playing rugby and getting out on the golf course
Luke joined Hollyport in June 2025 and is an Associate in the Investor Relations team based in London.
As an Investor Relations Associate, Luke supports the Investor Relations team in delivering a high level of customer service and relationship management to existing and prospective investors. Luke is involved in ongoing investor services, preparation of key materials and supporting the Firm’s capital raising efforts.
Before joining Hollyport, Luke worked at PwC in an M&A advisory role, working closely with private equity clients to execute operational and commercial due diligences to drive buy-side value creation. Luke brings a host of transferable skills including strong exposure to the private equity market and experience in client facing roles.
Luke studied English Literature at University of Birmingham with a year abroad at Universidad de Granada where he studied literature and psycholinguistics.
In his free time, Luke enjoys reading, running, and scouring other continents for good food.
Aman joined Hollyport in June 2025 as Asset Management Director, based in the London Office.
As Asset Management Director, Aman is responsible for driving value creation across GP-led investments. His role encompasses evaluating GP quality, fostering strategic relationships, and collaborating closely with the Investment and PD&A teams to monitor and enhance portfolio performance. Aman’s role entails proactively managing risk, aligning key stakeholders, and implementing strategies to optimise returns by designing and executing harvesting plans, challenging performance metrics, and establishing best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality engagement with both GPs and portfolio companies.
Aman brings a broad and deep skill set to the role, with a background spanning actuarial science, investment banking, and private equity. He began his career as an actuary in pension consulting and insurance, followed by post-MBA experience in investment banking at Credit Suisse in New York. Most recently, Aman was part of the Direct Private Equity team at CPP Investments, working across its Toronto and London offices. He has led and managed complex private equity transactions across North America and Europe, with a focus on long-term value creation.
Aman holds both a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and an MBA (Dean’s List) from the University of Toronto.
In his free time, Aman enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, alongside travelling, scuba diving and playing squash and paddle.
