Simon Wagstaff

Simon joined Hollyport in 2024 as a Fund Accountant in the London office.

Before joining Hollyport Simon was a Junior Fund Accountant at Belasko UK Ltd with a focus on leading reporting across fund structures, specialising in capital calls and distributions.

Simon holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Winchester. He is currently training to be a chartered accountant (CIMA).

Outside of work Simon enjoys keeping active and has taken up running with a goal of completing a marathon in the next couple years.

Sofia Basu

Sofia joined the Portfolio Data and Analytics team in 2024 as a Data Consultant. With a strong background in data manipulation tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI, Sofia is focused on automating processes to enhance efficiency and improve data quality for more insightful analysis. Her work helps streamline operations, making portfolio management more effective.

Sofia holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and a master’s degree in Cancer and Molecular Biology. This academic foundation brings a unique, analytical perspective to her role in data consulting.

Outside of work, Sofia is passionate about fitness and regularly spends time at the gym. She also enjoys painting spiritual art, exploring new restaurants, and has a deep love for music.

Elaine Fung

Elaine joined Hollyport as a Senior Fund Accountant in September 2024, based in the London office. Her role involves treasury, fund operations and structuring, and fund reporting.

Prior to working at Hollyport, Elaine was a Financial Controller at Equitix Infrastructure Investments, mainly focusing on financial reporting for infrastructure funds.

Elaine studied Accountancy and Management Information Systems at City University of Hong Kong and graduated with First Class Honors. She is a CPA under HKICPA and ACA under ICAEW.

Outside of work, Elaine enjoys watching dramas and spending time with her children

Chris Wilson

Chris joined Hollyport as Finance Director in September 2024, based in the London Office. He is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the Hollyport Funds, focussing on reporting, financial and cash management, and compliance at the fund-level.

Prior to working at Hollyport, Chris spent over 6 years at ICG and was most recently the Head of Finance and Operations for the LP Secondaries strategy; and over 10 years at PwC, where he was a Senior Manager servicing alternative asset management clients in both London and New York.

Chris holds an FCA with the ICAEW and graduated from Warwick Business School with an MSc in Economics and Finance.

Chris is a keen sportsman, although he is increasingly on the side of a pitch cheering on his children rather than playing.

Emily Khai

Emily joined Hollyport in 2024 as a Fund Accountant in the London office. Prior to Hollyport, she was at Haysmacintyre LLP as a graduate trainee auditor where she managed audits for a diverse client base across financial services, NFPs and charities. This role entailed leading audit engagements, conducting comprehensive financial analyses to identify discrepancies, ensuring compliance and cultivating strong client relationships.

Emily holds a first-class Bachelor of Science with honours – Professional Accounting in Business. She is currently training to be a chartered accountant (ACA).

Outside of work, Emily enjoys prioritising her wellness whether by staying active with regular gym routines, trying new sports for fun or painting with watercolours.

She speaks Burmese, more specifically the Zo dialect of Myanmar.

Hilary Foord

Hilary joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.

Prior to joining Hollyport Hilary was an Associate at IBIS Capital, a specialist mid-market TMT investment bank where he was involved in the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

Hilary holds an MA in Medieval History and Business Management from the University of Cambridge. Outside work, Hilary enjoys all things sport (mainly cycling, rugby and cricket) as well as reading and going to the theatre.

Isabel de Nadai

Isabel is a Senior Associate in our London office, specialising in data analytics and engineering. Isabel joined Hollyport in 2024 and is responsible for mentoring the associates and analysts in the team, as well as leveraging internal data to provide insights for the wider team and driving initiatives to enhance and enrich data quality.

Isabel has a Masters in Economics and a Masters in Economics and Psychology, both from the Sorbonne. Before joining Hollyport Isabel worked as a Data Analytics Manager at Liontrust Asset Management, where she was responsible for the automation and enhancement of data processes.

In her spare time Isabel enjoys hiking, spending time with her dog Sushi and reading.

Katherine Ellis

Katherine joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Associate in the investment team in London. Within her role, Katherine works with the investment team to introduce new opportunities and analyse potential acquisitions of private equity funds and portfolio companies. This includes valuing businesses, reviewing private equity fund financial statements and performing due diligence on private equity managers.

Prior to joining Hollyport, Katherine started her career at PwC in the asset and wealth management audit practice, before transferring to transaction services to perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Katherine has a First Class degree in Economics from Durham University, and completed her ACA qualification whilst at PwC, winning multiple ICAEW prizes. She was born in Hong Kong and lived there as a child. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Elliot Arnell

Elliot joined Hollyport in 2024 as part of the PD&A team, after completing two years of studying Economics at the University of Bath. In his role, Elliot is responsible for monitoring Hollyport’s funds and processing incoming financial and capital account statements. He also contributes to external data requests and plays a role in conducting research to support internal reporting.

Elliot is eager to deepen his knowledge of the Secondaries market and its diverse strategies, applying his analytical skills to the firm’s data for impactful insights.

Outside of work, Elliot enjoys staying active, travelling, and following football.

Charlie McKeagney

Charlie joined Hollyport in 2024 as part of the PD&A team. Charlie is an Economics undergraduate at the University of Bath, currently completing his placement year at Hollyport Capital. His primary responsibilities include monitoring Hollyport’s funds by processing financial and capital account statements and updating monitors with the latest calls and distributions. He also collaborates closely with various teams across the business, providing fund data for internal reports and contributing to key analysis.

Outside of work, Charlie is an avid rugby fan, both playing and watching, and recently joined Roslyn Park after moving to London. He also enjoys Gaelic football and squeezes in a round of golf whenever possible, though he admits he spends more time off the fairway than he’d like! Charlie loves to travel, with India and Morocco being two of his favourite adventures so far, but above all, he enjoys socialising with friends.
