Charlotte joined Hollyport in 2023, and is a Senior Associate in the investor relations team in New York.
Charlotte joined the firm to lead the ongoing development of the IR function in Hollyport’s New York office, working cross-functionally with the investment and finance departments in London. Her focus is on building and maintaining institutional client relationships, particularly in the US market, and establishing best practice for marketing materials and internal processes. She manages US communication activities, including regular portfolio updates, and frequent ad-hoc investor requests.
Charlotte began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS in the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors Group. Most recently, she was an Associate on the Investor Relations & Fundraising team at Palladium Equity Partners.
Charlotte graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Classics. Outside of work she enjoys travel, skiing, tennis, and the NYT crossword!
Steph joined Hollyport in 2021, and is a Senior Associate in the investor relations team in London. In her role she is responsible for building and supporting client relationships and fundraising. In addition to preparing marketing materials, sharing portfolio updates, and responding to investor queries, Steph leads the preparation of the annual investor meeting. She also attends meetings and conferences in Europe, to develop relationships across the industry.
Before joining Hollyport, Steph spent four years in the wealth and asset management audit and assurance department at EY. During this time, Steph became an ICAS-qualified Chartered Accountant. Steph holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sussex.
Thomas joined Hollyport in 2020 and is an Associate in the investment team in London. His role covers all aspects of the investment appraisal process; valuing businesses, modelling financials and performing due diligence on private equity managers to form the investment thesis. Since joining Hollyport, Thomas has built relationships with fund managers and potential vendors to monitor fund performance and source potential opportunities.
Prior to joining Hollyport Thomas worked in the wealth and asset management team at Ernst & Young, focussing largely on private equity clients.
Thomas has a First Class Masters in Mathematics and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Outside of work, Thomas is a qualified snowboard instructor and a PADI Divemaster.
Billy joined Hollyport in 2020 as an Investment Associate in the New York office. His role focusses on the appraisal of potential acquisitions of private equity funds and portfolio companies; modelling funds and formulating the investment thesis, and supporting the legal and transfer process once a deal is signed. Billy regularly speaks with fund managers and potential vendors to monitor fund performance and source business.
Billy previously worked as a Senior Associate in transaction advisory services, where he provided both sell-side and buy-side financial due diligence for middle market transactions for private equity clients.
Billy graduated from St John’s University with a BSc and a Masters degree in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. In his free time, Billy likes to play golf or cheer on the St. John’s Red Storm at Madison Square Garden.
Arthur joined Hollyport in 2019, and is a Senior Associate in the London investment team where he is responsible for originating and evaluating LP and GP-led transactions. This role involves all aspects of the investment appraisal process, from modelling the transaction to legal support and the transfer process, managing the project team and workflow. In his time at Hollyport, Arthur has developed his negotiation skills and continues to build strong relationships with market participants.
Arthur began his career as a management consultant in PwC, where he performed fair value assessments on private companies and assets across Europe, US and Asia and advised private equity and corporate clients on transaction prices.
Arthur studied at the University of Cambridge and has achieved his ICAEW Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA). He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside of the office, you’ll often find Arthur on the tennis court.
Katy joined Hollyport in 2016 as Office Manager, and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2022 before becoming a Vice Principal in 2024. She works closely with all areas of the business to lead operational initiatives, including IT and cybersecurity projects, CRM development, and the introduction of new systems and processes to improve collaboration and efficiency.
Katy oversees the administrative function globally, working with the office managers in London and New York to coordinate policies and ensure operational consistency across the business. She is also responsible for identifying and mitigating operational and technological risks.
Katy has a BA in Italian from the University of Bristol. In her free time she enjoys getting outside to run, cycle, or catch up with friends. She travels to Italy as often as possible, visiting her favourite places and discovering new ones.
Scott is a Vice Principal in our London office and heads up the Portfolio, Data & Analytics team. He joined Hollyport in 2018 as a Fund Accountant before carving out a niche for himself in analysis – eventually creating and building the Portfolio, Data & Analytics function at Hollyport. Scott and his team are focused on portfolio level data; the systems that obtain and store this data, and leveraging both internal and external data to provide insights to the wider company.
Scott has a Masters in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, which included a placement year developing hydrogen fuel cell technology in Norway, following which he taught mathematics for two years prior to joining Hollyport. During his time at Hollyport, Scott has successfully studied for his ACCA qualification as well as a Bachelors in Applied Accounting.
Outside of the office, Scott is a grade 8 pianist and enjoys the outdoors and fishkeeping. His interests also include railways, cars, and anything old, mechanical, and oily.
