Christian Jones

Christian joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Investment Associate in London. In this role, he supports the investment team by analysing potential acquisitions of private equity funds, performing due-diligence and financial modelling. He is excited to apply his M&A transaction experience to the secondary market. As part of his development, Christian aims to deepen financial modelling techniques and his understanding of the private-equity secondaries market.

Before joining Hollyport, Christian spent over three years in EY’s M&A Financial Due Diligence practice, advising strategic and private-equity clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions. Prior to moving into finance, he worked as an engineer with the UK Ministry of Defence in Singapore and with BAE Systems on UK military vessels.

Christian is an exam-qualified Chartered Accountant, due to achieve full qualification in 2025, and holds a First Class BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield.

Away from the office, Christian used to play basketball competitively but has since swapped this for going to the gym and hiking. In addition to English, he speaks intermediate Spanish and is taking lessons to improve his fluency.

Annabel Howell

Annabel joined Hollyport in 2025 as an Investment Associate, based in London. Her role involves evaluating new investment opportunities, performing due diligence and pricing analysis on potential transactions alongside the investment team.

Before joining Hollyport, Annabel worked with the Healthcare Investment Banking group at Bank of America and was involved in M&A and capital markets advisory to corporate and private equity clients across the healthcare sector.

Annabel graduated from Duke University (USA) with a degree in Political Science. Outside of work, Annabel enjoys running. She has completed the London and Stockholm marathon and hopes to do more in the future.

Johanne van der Walt

Johanne joined the Compliance team as an Associate in 2025 and plays a key role in supporting the firm’s compliance function by managing day-to-day operational tasks.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and spent a semester abroad studying at the Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. As a student, Johanne completed a Consulting Internship at EY and volunteered her time at a free legal clinic.

After relocating to London in 2024, Johanne started her career in Compliance at one of the UK’s largest trading brokerages, where she gained experience working within a highly regulated space.

Johanne grew up in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand and is fluent in Afrikaans. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, travelling with friends and listening to live music.

Sofia Basu

Sofia joined the Portfolio Data and Analytics team in 2024 as a Data Consultant. With a strong background in data manipulation tools such as Python, SQL, and PowerBI, Sofia is focused on automating processes to enhance efficiency and improve data quality for more insightful analysis. Her work helps streamline operations, making portfolio management more effective.

Sofia holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and a master’s degree in Cancer and Molecular Biology. This academic foundation brings a unique, analytical perspective to her role in data consulting.

Outside of work, Sofia is passionate about fitness and regularly spends time at the gym. She also enjoys painting spiritual art, exploring new restaurants, and has a deep love for music.

Hilary Foord

Hilary joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.

Prior to joining Hollyport Hilary was an Associate at IBIS Capital, a specialist mid-market TMT investment bank where he was involved in the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

Hilary holds an MA in Medieval History and Business Management from the University of Cambridge. Outside work, Hilary enjoys all things sport (mainly cycling, rugby and cricket) as well as reading and going to the theatre.

Katherine Ellis

Katherine joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Associate in the investment team in London. Within her role, Katherine works with the investment team to introduce new opportunities and analyse potential acquisitions of private equity funds and portfolio companies. This includes valuing businesses, reviewing private equity fund financial statements and performing due diligence on private equity managers.

Prior to joining Hollyport, Katherine started her career at PwC in the asset and wealth management audit practice, before transferring to transaction services to perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.

Katherine has a First Class degree in Economics from Durham University, and completed her ACA qualification whilst at PwC, winning multiple ICAEW prizes. She was born in Hong Kong and lived there as a child. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Hannah Saunders

Hannah joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the New York office. Her role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds, assets, and their managers as well as financial modeling.

Hannah joined Hollyport from the secondaries investment team at LGT Capital Partners, where she spent nearly two years as an Analyst covering both LP-led and GP-led transactions. There, she began building her knowledge about the secondary market and broader private equity landscape, which she continues to develop at Hollyport.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University with double majors in Economics and Sociology, as well as a minor in Law & Society. Outside of work, Hannah is passionate about music and design. Hannah originally grew up in South Florida and is fluent in Spanish.

Anoushka Ganjoo

Anoushka joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the New York office. Her role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.

Before joining Hollyport Anoushka started her career interning at a number of different companies, IronHold Capital and IBM to name a couple. She then went on to work at J.P Morgan as an Analyst before moving in January 2023 to 50 South Capital.

Anoushka holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Boston College Carrol School of Management and is fluent in Hindi.

Outside of work Anoushka loves to spend time with friends and family, trying new cuisines or restaurants, traveling and reading. She grew up across three different countries so loves learning about different cultures.

Nicholas Miller

Nick joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the New York office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.

Nick joined Hollyport from CDX Advisors, a boutique M&A focused investment bank where he advised on transactions globally within the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) space. This experience covered both buy-side and sell-side engagements as well as growth equity capital raise advisory for companies seeking growth capital. Here he developed financial modelling skills and gained exposure to M&A process dynamics.

Nick holds a Master of Science Management from the University of Notre Dame.

Outside of work Nick enjoy exploring NYC’s often expanding restaurant scene, following Notre Dame football and walking his dog around Central Park.

Callum Pearson

Callum joined Hollyport in 2024 as an Investment Associate in the London office. His role entails supporting the team in assessing new investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence on private equity funds and their managers as well as financial modelling.

Before joining Hollyport, Callum was an Associate at Asante Capital in the Secondaries and Capital Solutions team, where he was involved in the origination and execution of GP-led transactions on behalf of private equity clients, across all sectors.

Callum graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Economics and Finance and completed a year in industry with a wealth manager, where he worked on the discretionary portfolio management team.

Outside of work, Callum enjoys travelling, tennis, running and skiing.
